The ‘Dublin Peace, Security and Resilience Dialogue’ is Ireland’s premier summit for Irish and global thought leaders to gather and consider solutions for critical national and international peace, security and resilience questions facing the global community, Europe and Ireland.

ABOUT:
The inaugural high-level Dialogue took place on November 18th in advance of Ireland’s Presidency of the Council of the European Union in 2026. It created a platform to:

Enhance mutual understanding and identify convergences on key national and international peace and security postures;

Build bridges and foster a community of expert stakeholders in national and international peace and security by including leading academic, civil society and private sector voices in proffering solutions with key governmental stakeholders;

Support capacity building through information exchange and exchange of good practices.
KEY OBJECTIVES:
The key objectives of the Dublin Peace, Security and Resilience Dialogue are to:

Enhance understanding and awareness of national security challenges and geostrategic uncertainties.

Provide strategic insights from distinguished thought leaders and experts with long experience in global stability/instability trends, threats and their implications.

Enhance understanding of current and future policy regimes, including gaps, challenges and opportunities.

Informally identify solutions and measures to enhance future national and global resilience and stability.
-
Examine unanswered questions to better prepare and mitigate against future crises with preventive action.
